Artifact 1:
During the spring semester of 2011, in my Technology for Educators (EDUC 2500) class at Dixie State College, I used Windows PhotoStory 3 to create a video based on the state objectives and standards for Kindergarten health. This lesson teaches children not only how much and what varieties of food to eat to keep their bodies healthy, but that exercise is important as well. This lesson shows evidence of the Subject Matter D.E.S.E.R.T. model because it not only shows my knowledge of the subject matter but creates an effective and fun way to present the information that my students need to learn, while still meeting the state core standards and curriculum.
